now see. i've made a little boat out of paper. it runs down the stream, artfully dodging the rocks before disappearing around the bed and into the snow. i know it will never reach the ocean, bcause it is paper. it's not a long journey for my boat. it turns to mush, and finally to fiber, all hands overboard and lost.
