Hello, This is my photoblog or photographic web log. I have been taking - dabbling in photography for over 25 years. (Yikes!) I started my love of photography when I was about 10 or 11. My friend's Uncle lent us his 35mm Cannon, which had 12 pictures left on the roll, to kept us entertained and I guess out of his hair at a family gathering. My friend and I each had 6 picture which was a great lessson on thinking before you shoot. I never saw the pictures of what I shot that day. But I remember them in my mind's eye, and I was hooked. I saved all my money up and got a camera. It took awhile - A LONG WHILE. My first camera was one that was manual everything. It really helped me learn the basics for understanding how to take a picture. So I can say I have been taking pictures for a long time and I have found that I have peak times for taking pictures: traveling, vacations, family events, etc. Starting this blog will give me another reason to take my camera out. I will be adding pictures from the past and current ones as well. Let me know what you like and what can be improved. The first goal of this website was to work with my nieces to encourage their interest in photography. Then the teenage years started and interests changed. They still are photographers. I kept the website and created the photoblog. I travel extensively for my job, most time I only get to explore the airport.
